As sisters and moms to a gaggle of kids all around the same ages, we have weathered all sorts of different storms together. One thing that has remained constant is that we wanted to go into business together. Thanks to our parents, we both have a love of creating through a variety of avenues. Woodworking from our Dad, drawing and painting from our Mom, along with a few other things that we learned ourselves.
Growing up neither one of us was big into sports. Brandee played softball in school (she was good), and Courtney picked up soccer in high school (she was not good). However, our Dad always had some sort of sport playing on the TV. Courtney developed a love for sports for no other reason that she could bond with Dad over them. Brandee….only hockey.
Fast forward a few years. We both moved out, started careers, got married, and had kids. Brandee and her husband have always had a dream for their kids to play hockey. As soon as their oldest was old enough, they got him on the ice. This is where Brandee’s true love for sports has thrived. Being able to cheer on her kids and support them has been amazing. The only problem was finding cute clothes to support them. Cue our knack for the creative, and we teamed up to start throwing some ideas around.
While we were brainstorming, we realized that we were not the only ones that wanted something different from the norm in terms of apparel. We couldn’t find any cute “Mom shirts”, couldn’t find anything specific to travel teams, and all of our friends agreed. This is where our idea was born. Why not create something that can be customized per school/team and make it cute at the same time?
We are so excited to begin this adventure and to bring flexibility, like the willow tree, to our customers. Thank you so much for your support and we hope that you stick with us as we continue to stick to our creative roots while chasing our dream of bringing cute apparel to everyone!
